2025 De Pere Redbird Senior Scholarship Recipient

2026 De Pere Redbird Senior Scholarship Application
Purpose: The purpose of the De Pere Baseball Booster Club Scholarship is to honor/recognize an individual for their participation in the baseball program at De Pere High School. The scholarship is available to De Pere High School baseball players who have participated in the baseball program while attending De Pere High School. The scholarship is designed to aid a student in their pursuit of a higher education in either a bachelor, associate or trade degree program. The scholarship is for $1,000 and can only be awarded to an individual once. The De Pere Baseball Booster Club reserves the right to review the scholarship program and its criteria annually.
Scholarship Criteria:
1) A current playing Senior from De Pere High School.
2) Plans to attend a College, University or Trade School following graduation.
3) Must have a GPA of 2.5 or above.
4) Active involvement in the school and community.
5) Free from athletic code violations and school suspensions.
Application Process and Dates:
1) The applications will be available on the De Pere Redbird Baseball website or at the De Pere High School counseling office.
2) Submit the application and essay to the De Pere School office in a sealed envelope, Attn: Amy Goheski, Counseling Secretary, by April 15, 2026 to be considered.
3) The applicant must write an essay between 500 and 1000 words on one of the following:
a) The effect/role that baseball has had on their life.
b) What baseball has meant to them.
4) Scholarship winner will be announced at the Senior Scholarship/Award Program (if applicable) and will be celebrated on social media.
Review Process
The De Pere Baseball Booster Club uses an outside entity through St. Norbert College to review all applications. During this process the outside entity will read, critique and select the winning applicant.
